Apprentices for Employers

Apprenticeships have been around for many years. In fact, they go back as far as the middle ages. However, the benefits that apprentices can bring to your business haven’t changed over time.

Recruiting and developing your own workforce can be a bit of a maze. Finding the right people with the right skills and attributes can be daunting. This is where City College Peterborough can help to make life easier for you. We have people of all ages looking for jobs where they can develop their skills on an apprenticeship scheme within the context and culture of your business.

What are Apprenticeships?

They’re structured training programmes that give people a chance to work, train towards a qualification and earn - all at the same time.

They help employees gain the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen industry. Being in employment means there's lots of potential for them to progress in your career quickly.

People from 16 or 60, in work or not, can do an Apprenticeship at a range of levels from Level 2 to Level 6 (degree level).

Apprenticeships are available in a huge range of industries from digital and cybersecurity, to financial and banking, law, teaching, fashion and much more.

Apprenticeships Levy and Non-Levy
