Green Family days are one-day (6-hour) community learning courses working with families to empower them to act in their own lives to address climate change. Learning takes place outdoors and is practical, activity-based and fun. Courses will provide information and the opportunity for positive discussion with a clear focus on solutions, helping learners understand how they as individuals and communities can make a difference. The course is specifically designed for adults with young children (aged 7-11) to participate together in positive and healthy family activities. The course is ideal for all learners, including the most disadvantaged and those who would not usually participate in learning because of their caring responsibilities.
