FREE Level 1 Preparing to Work In Adult Social Care

Upon completion attendees will achieve the City & Guilds level 1 Award in Preparing to work in adult social care. Furthermore, the participants would have gained the skills and knowledge required to be able to complete the care certificate upon gaining employment in the adult social care sector.

Curriculum 1: Level 1 Award in Preparing to work in Adult Social Care

Course description:

An introduction into the skills, knowledge and behaviours for an employee in the adult social are sector.

Units included:

• Introduction to the adult social care sector.
• Introduction to the values and principles of adult social care.
• Awareness of the skills and attitudes needed to work in adult social care.
• Awareness of communication in adult social care.
• Awareness of the role and responsibilities of the adult social care worker.
