Working in the health & care sector doesn’t always have to involve providing personal care. There are lots of other different roles in the sector that may be right for you.
For example, you may enjoy working with adults or young people with learning or sensory impairments, or perhaps you would prefer the role of activities co-ordinator, support or admin functions, teaching and learner support, ambulance assistant or maybe being a companion for someone who would like a bit of company.
We can help you progress towards the role that is best suited to you and help you gain a recognised qualification to help you with the skills you need to get into work.
On completion of your course, you’ll achieve the City & Guild's Level 1 Award 'Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care' and gain an understanding of the 15 Care Certificate standards.
