You can either study in a local community venue, in our innovative skills lab based at City College Peterborough, or online where you can study at a time and place that suits you. The course groups are quite small and are flexible to suit your needs.

This course will also suit those who do not want to be in a direct health or care role (for e.g. nurse or healthcare assistant) and would like to get a job in healthcare as an administrator, customer service assistant, driver, catering assistant, IT assistant and other roles.

Throughout your course, you will benefit from personal and, in many cases, financial support to help you complete your qualification.

Our training is for:

  • Existing staff in the Health & Care Sector
  • Those about to be employed in the Health & Care Sector
  • Individuals who are employed and are looking to work in the Health & Care Sector

  • Staff who have no knowledge of the care certificate
