Course Overview

Discover the art of pottery in this hands-on, 2.5 hour workshop designed for beginners and those looking to build their confidence with clay.

During the course, you’ll be introduced to a simple pinch pot technique. This technique can be used to make a variety of things such as a cup, vase, an animal or small sculpture.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created your own handmade item to be fired and collected at a later date.

This welcoming and creative experience is ideal for anyone wanting to try something new, develop practical skills, and explore the opportunity to progress onto a longer course.

All materials and tools are provided. No prior experience is necessary.

You will need

Please wear suitable clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or bring your own apron. A small hand towel may also be useful.

To ensure your comfort and safety during pottery sessions, we kindly ask that you wear sensible footwear. Since pottery involves working with clay, water, and various tools, sturdy, closed-toe shoes are essential for protecting your feet and maintaining stability. We recommend avoiding sandals, flip-flops, crocs, or heels for your safety and ease of movement.
