Course Overview

Explore a variety of creative art and craft activities that help you express yourself, connect with others, and support your wellbeing. You’ll be introduced to inspiring artists and their work, and you’ll try out their techniques to create your own pieces.

This course is for you if you are a Supported Adult Learner (SAL) aged 19 or over, who has learning disabilities, does not have an EHCP, and would like to enjoy the wellbeing benefits of creativity.

Build your confidence and discover new skills in a calm, friendly space where you will be supported every step of the way.

You will look at things such as:

• Using different art and craft techniques to create your own artwork

• Working with a range of materials

• Learning about different artists and their styles

• Sharing ideas and creations with others in a supportive group

You will need

All materials are provided. You only need an interest in arts and crafts and a willingness to join in.

To enrol

This course is funded by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority. Eligibility criteria apply. Learners will need to provide:

• ID

• proof of address

• proof of income upon enrolment.

A course fee is applicable if your income exceeds the threshold set by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority or if you live outside Cambridgeshire.
