Do you find technology such as computers challenging?
If you are a supported adult learner (SAL) aged 19 or over, have learning disabilities, and do not have an EHCP, our SAL Click IT course could be just what you need!
You will learn how to use everyday digital tools safely through guided, hands-on activities in a supportive environment that will build your confidence, foster your independence, and open doors to new opportunities!
You will look at things such as:
• Creating images using different shapes.
• Sending and receiving emails
• Staying safe online and spot common scams
• Sharing your photos from your phone using free apps like WhatsApp
• Downloading and using helpful apps
• Streaming music, videos, and more from the internet
• Accessing online services like your library, GP, and online banking
You only need a pen to make notes. All other materials will be provided for you.
To enrol
This course is funded by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority. Eligibility criteria apply. Learners will need to provide:
• ID
• proof of address
• proof of income upon enrolment.
A course fee is applicable if your income exceeds the threshold set by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority or if you live outside Cambridgeshire.
