Skills for Creative Industries: Craft

This is a portfolio based level 1 course. During this course, you will learn basics in design including how to research ideas. You will also learn how to use a range of different tools and materials.

Course topics:

• Explore craft resources
• Explore craft ideas
• Create, present and review final craft item.

During this course, you will learn the basics of:

• Decoupage
• Pallet wood crafts
• Needle felting
• Image transfer
• Upcycling
• Repurposing

Whilst on this course, you will get an opportunity to take part in enterprise projects, where you can gain the skills to start your own craft business.

Course Requirements:

This course is designed for learners of all abilities and can be made bespoke to the individual. An enthusiasm to learn new craft skills and not afraid to get messy.
