Community Learning Partnerships

Bringing learning opportunities to where it matters most in the local community.

City College Peterborough could fund you to deliver learning opportunities in your community.

The college has worked successfully with local community groups and organisations for many years to help them deliver learning where it matters most – in the heart of the local community to bring new opportunities to people and improve their lives.

Join us on Friday 15th July 09:30 - 12:00 to find out more about CLP funding. We will be hosting a morning workshop to talk about the funding opportunity and discuss your project ideas. Call us on 01733 761 361 to book your organisation a space.

The college’s Community Learning Partnerships (CLP) - Funds community organisations to identify local needs and deliver learning and training opportunities themselves in their local areas to respond to those needs.

If you have an idea for a project that involves some learning and would benefit local adults over 19 who use your services, and you can provide the people to deliver it, we may be able to supply the funding.

The aim of the CLP is to:

  • Maximise access to community learning for adults, bringing new opportunities and improving lives
  • Promote social renewal by bringing local communities together to experience the joy of learning and the pride that comes with achievement
  • Improve the social and economic well-being of individuals, families and communities
  • Enhance the mental and physical health of people living within the local communities

The CLP provides a great opportunity to develop community learning and support cohesion in new ways, target disadvantaged individuals and areas, provide new sources of funding, and work with other agencies to maximise the impact of Community Learning funding.
