During this exciting and challenging photography session the aim will be to capture wildlife around Ferry Meadows. It will provide a perfect opportunity to come away with amazing and inspired images.
• Suitable for most types of digital camera but especially; DSLR, Bridge, CSC, Mirrorless & some compact cameras
• We shall establish the ideal camera settings, composition and equipment required
Please note for our Saturday taster sessions there is no concessions for over 60’s.
• Bring a tripod as this will be essential to ensure crisp, sharp photos
• A camera with fully charged battery(s) - this will be necessary as it’ll be cold, and the battery could lose charge
• A ‘kit’ lens (18mm - 55mm) or similar is ideal. However, if you also have a small telephoto lens (up to 200mm) this could also be useful for some images.
• Sufficient space on the memory card - you will be taking lots of photos!
• A tripod to support the camera - a monopod is not likely to be sufficiently stable for this task.
• Lens cleaning cloth/lens pen to remove finger marks, dust, raindrops!?
• Also, adequate warm clothing, gloves, scarf etc.
As always, this outdoor session will be more enjoyable if the weather is kind to us!
You could enrol onto one of our 5-week photography courses.
