This course is suitable for individuals working in a school environment who wish to gain a recognised qualification to enhance their skills and knowledge in the sector. You will cover child and young person development, Equality, Diversity and inclusion, schools as organisations. safeguarding and welfare and other key areas working in a school environment. "The course requirement is to have a good understanding of the English language, to at least level 1.
Those taking the certificates will need to be working in a role that allows them to demonstrate those learning outcomes relating to practice in their day to day work. A minimum of 6 hours is recommended, such as: full or part-time; permanent, temporary or voluntary; school-based or peripatetic or working in a maintained, non-maintained or independent setting."
