Dressmaking for Beginners

This course is suitable for beginners, however, you should have a basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine or we advise enrolling on a “Get to Know Your Sewing Machine” course first.You will be taken through each part of the process of making a skirt step by step. You will have learnt a variety of new skills within dressmaking and will achieve a well finished garment you’ll be proud of!The course will cover: How to take accurate measurements, how to read a pattern and follow instructions, how to apply a seam allowance, zip, buttonhole, waistband and hem.
