Course Overview

A course designed to aid young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder in personal and social development and to enable them to live as independently as possible.

The course will look at a variety of areas including:

  • Health and hygiene
  • Independent cookery
  • Household shopping
  • Budgeting
  • Health and fitness
  • Gardening
  • Looking after my home
  • Interview preparation
  • CV writing
  • Mindfulness
  • Stress management

We will also work on social and emotional development through creative communication and discussion groups to build on skills to enable you to cope in social situations, understanding and empathising with peers and their views and opinions.
