Course Overview

Have you got a sewing machine lying around that you rarely use? Have you always wanted to repair your own clothing? Are you looking for a new hobby? Then perhaps this course is for you. During this short course, we will build your confidence in using a sewing machine and gain basic skills that will help you to repair items of your own.

In the course, we will cover: Cutting fabric from patterns, sewing seams, inserting zips and creating buttonholes.

We have a variety of sewing machines here, but you are more than welcome to bring your own if you would prefer.

You will need

Provide your own material, cottons and equipment including dressmaking scissors, needle etc.
