Course Overview

This course is ideal for those wanting to get started in photography as a hobby and even to progress within the industry! Each session is run in a fun and interactive way and you will have the opportunity to take photos of selected subjects. There will be homework for you to complete prior to the following session which is designed to help practice the sessions content whilst away from the course and the course also includes handouts to retain, which can assist with understanding & be a useful reference point in future. In the course we will cover: The key settings, buttons & dials on your camera, composition & flash controls, to help guide you to capture greatly improved images and attain greater satisfaction from your photography.

You will need

Digital camera: a compact camera, Bridge camera, a Mirrorless camera or a Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera. Also useful will be a tripod.

After the introductory course, you could look at moving on to the Extending Your Photography Skills or Advanced photography courses.
