Discover the art of transforming simple shapes into stunning geometric table decorations! In this hands-on course, you'll bring designs to life while refreshing your math skills. Explore symmetry, and proportions, using practical techniques to create beautiful décor. Plus, learn how to share these skills with your children, turning everyday learning into a fun and engaging experience that strengthens their understanding of math through hands-on creativity!
You will:
• Apply basic mathematical concepts to create a variety of shapes.
• Use these shapes to produce table decorations e.g. table runner and placemats.
• Explore ways to share these skills with your children to support their numeracy development.
There will be no lessons on 9 & 16 April.
All materials will be provided.
This course is funded by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority. To ensure eligibility, learners must provide valid ID, proof of address, and proof of income. Please note that while these documents will be reviewed, no copies will be retained. If you have previously completed a Multiply course, you will not be eligible to enrol in this program.
