This course is designed to promote wellbeing through the activity of drawing and painting. You will be encouraged to go at your own pace so that you can enjoy the process of mark making using different materials. An opportunity to use a variety of different mediums, including watercolour, acrylics, pastels, pencils, and inks. Also, to put into practice, creating dynamic subjects of landscape, portraiture and still life. The structure of the sessions will include demonstrations by the tutor and individual tuition with practical activities, as well as reference to related subjects including tips and techniques to help you develop individual skills and confidence. This course is suitable for beginners and intermediate levels.
Please wear suitable clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or bring your own apron.
There will be a small amount of materials provided however we recommend you buying the following items to start with -
• A4 Mixed media pad
• Small set of Acrylics
• Pencils/Charcoal Pencils
To ensure your comfort and safety during the painting sessions, we kindly ask that you wear sensible footwear. sturdy, closed-toe shoes are essential for protecting your feet and maintaining stability. We recommend avoiding sandals, flip-flops, crocs, or heels for your safety and ease of movement.
