This course is designed to guide learners through the process of painting animals using various mediums and techniques. From capturing the essence of their subjects to mastering details, you will develop skills in portraying animals in visually compelling and expressive manner.
Course Objectives:
• To understand the anatomy and structure of different animals for accurate representation in paintings.
• To develop proficiency in various paining techniques suitable for depicting fur, feathers, scales, and other textures found in animals.
• To explore different styles and approaches in painting animals, from realism to abstraction.
• To learn how to effectively use colour theory and palette selection to evoke mood and atmosphere in animal paintings.
• To cultivate observational skills through studying live animals, photographs, and other references.
Materials for each session. We recommend the following items to start with -
• A4 Mixed media pad
• Small set of Acrylics
• Pencils/Charcoal Pencils
• A Putty Rubber
A limited amount of materials will be available.
