Being able to express yourself helps you feel more confident. In this 30-week course, you will use acting as a way to build your confidence to show who you are and what makes you unique.
Are you a supported adult learner (SAL) aged 19 or over who has learning disabilities, does not have an EHCP, and find it hard to express yourself? If you answered yes, our SAL Express, Perform, Shine course is just what you need!
What will you learn
You will, for example:
• Explore different acting styles.
• Look at different types of performance such as pantomime
• Use props and costumes to bring your characters to life
• Work together as part of a team to create and perform your ideas.

You'll need to wear comfortable clothes and shoes, such as a track suit and trainers. Everything else will be provided.
This course is funded by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority. Eligibility criteria apply which learners will be expected to evidence by
providing ID, proof of address and proof of income upon enrolment.
A fee will only be applicable if you’re income is over the threshold set by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.
After completing this course, you can discuss with your tutor to move onto one of our other SAL courses such as SAL Once Upon a Story.
