Course Overview

Are you a supported adult learner (SAL) aged 19 or over who has learning disabilities, does not have an EHCP, and finds numbers up to 20 challenging?

If you answered yes, our SAL Math Explorers course could be just what you need!

In this friendly and supportive course, you’ll take small, steady steps to unravel the mystery of numbers and build your confidence to use maths in everyday life.

You will look at things such as:

• How to read, write and order numbers

• Understanding place value (what each digit in a number means)

• Counting with confidence

• Working with numbers up to 100

• How to add and subtract numbers in simple ways

We’d love to meet you first to make sure this course is the right fit for you.

A fee will only be applicable if you’re income is over the threshold set by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.
