Are you a supported adult learner (SAL) aged 19 or over who has learning disabilities, does not have an EHCP, and you find managing stress and relaxing challenging? If you answered yes, our SAL Rest, Breathe, Relax course is just what you need!
Over the course of 30-weeks you will develop practical strategies to support your mental health and overall wellbeing. This can help you feel more resilient, calmer, stronger and create healthier habits.
You will for example:
• Try easy chair exercises to help you relax and stay healthy
• Learn how to focus on the moment
• Talk about things that affect your mental health
• Practise breathing exercises to help stay calm

This course is funded by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority. Eligibility criteria apply which learners will be expected to evidence by
providing ID, proof of address and proof of income upon enrolment.
A fee will only be applicable if you’re income is over the threshold set by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.
After completing this course, you can discuss with your tutor to move onto one of our other SAL courses such as our SAL Step it up a Gear.
