Course Overview

SFI is a course designed for young adults with severe and complex needs, focusing on developing independence, confidence, and communication skills in a fun and supportive environment. The course is tailored to meet individual needs, and you'll learn important life skills such as cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing, and more!

In addition to these practical skills, you'll have the opportunity to participate in exciting community trips and activities, including sailing, boccia, animal care, hand cycling, and other fun experiences. Maths and English are integrated into all lessons, and if suitable, you may also take part in group or individual work experience to gain real-world experience.

Our college staff are here to provide support, including help finding day opportunities outside of college. We also have a fully accessible building with sensory rooms and wellbeing services to support your needs. SFI is all about helping you develop the skills you need for your future. We’re excited to be part of your next adventure!
