Spanish The Next Steps and Beyond

Spanish – Next Steps and Beyond is designed for learners who already have a solid foundation in Spanish and are ready to build greater confidence, fluency, and versatility in real world communication. This course offers the opportunity to practise and expand upon the language skills you’ve previously acquired while introducing new, practical topics to help you navigate everyday and unexpected situations in Spanish speaking environments.

Throughout the course, you will strengthen your ability to interact naturally and spontaneously across a range of scenarios. By the end, you will be able to:

• Confidently use public transport in Spanish-speaking countries

• Cope with unexpected or challenging situations, such as asking for help when unwell

• Give and justify opinions

• Express likes, dislikes, preferences, and feelings

• Ask relevant questions using appropriate vocabulary

• Explain personal details and talk about your background

• Describe your job, responsibilities, and daily routines

• Organise and discuss accommodation

• Talk about current affairs and what is happening in the world around you
