Course Overview

Samuel Pepys’ career spanned both the Protectorate and Restoration, serving in Cromwell’s Exchequer and later as an administrator of the Royal Navy and as a Member of Parliament. He is most famous for the diary he kept for a decade, which gave us a fascinating insight into his life and times.
